Fondo Italiano per l’Efficienza Energetica joins the parent company CCC Holdings Europe SpA with an investment of €18 million
Roen Est SpA, heat exchanger manufacturer based in Ronchi dei Legionari (GO), announces a €16 million capital increase.
Fondo Italiano per l’Efficienza Energetica (FIEE), one of the largest European funds specialising in energy efficiency, joined the parent company CCC Holdings Europe S.p.A. at the end of September with an investment of €18 million.
CCC Holdings Europe (CCCHE) is the financial company based in Italy, specialised in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry, which in January 2020 acquired 100% of Roen Est with an ambitious development project and further acquisitions, including in particular that made in February this year of Enex Srl, technological leader in refrigeration with natural coolants.
“Of the €18 million paid by the new shareholder FIEE, €16 million will go to Roen Est, bringing our share capital to €27 million,” explains CEO Giovanni Bordin. “This is a very important recognition for Roen, which confirms its role as a leading player in the development and investment policies of the parent company CCC Holdings Europe SpA.
This new capital means new investments in technology and human resources, it means outlining a commercial scenario with double-digit sales growth in the coming years and also new future acquisitions in Italy.”
During the last few months, Roen Est’s staff has been enriched with numerous specialised figures with long international experience to cover strategic roles including sales and purchasing management, human resources management, IT and others.
“We are honoured to welcome an institutional investor as prestigious as FIEE among our shareholders,” said Greg Deldicque, President and CEO of CCCHE. “This capital increase allows us to continue significantly along the path of growth of the companies already acquired and to plan new acquisitions with the aim of creating a company with over €200 million in revenues.”
With around 400 employees and two plants in Italy and Slovakia, Roen Est had a turnover of €35 million in 2019. Since 1983, the year of its foundation, the company has climbed to the top of the market becoming Europe’s leading manufacturer of custom-made unit coolers and ventilation units, with about two thirds of its sales linked to exports.
